Does TravelingOms.com act as an agent between presenter and event planner?
No. We provide the tool (the website) to allow event planners to search for presenters and for presenters to search for Opportunities, but we that is where we leave it. It is up to the individuals to contact each other and work out the details. You can contact each other through the TravelingOms.com Contact Form or through any other means.

Then how does TravelingOms.com make money? Hidden fees once I join?
Nope. No hidden fees. Right now the site is completely free. In the future we will begin charging a modest fee to host your Om Profile and/or open Opportunities (but you will always be able to search the database for free). Don't worry, it won't be hidden - we will make it very prominent once we are ready to begin charging for a profile.

Will I need to provide credit card info to join?
Nope. To join all you need is the following info: your name, email, password, and how you heard about us.

Why can't I see the whole database without creating an account?
We want to make sure the people viewing profiles are quality hits rather than someone who just clicked on the site by mistake. By having only members searching through the database we can track how much quality traffic is hitting each profile - then share those statistics with the profile's owners. Also, this allows us to keep our Presenters' information away from spammers.
